What'sSeneko?
Seneko is a completely free of charge e-learning application offered by a Natural Language Processing resarch group called IXA. Generally, e-learning applications are used for non attendance learning. The main objective of Seneko is to work with texts written in Basque. To perform this task, the system raises several questions about the documents accessible on the web site and users must answer this questions. In the application there are two different types of users, guests and registered ones. Guests are not allowed to save any document in the system. Registered users can instead store their own documents, and they can also establish their documents for public or private access. To carry out the exercises, public texts may be used by any user. Otherwise private texts will be restricter for their respective owners. In addition, to facilitate the choice of the documents, each one includes an assessment. This assessment serves as a scale which attempts to evaluate the usefulness of documents and questions.
